These guidelines apply to your attendance at and participation in Arts India US events and programs (each, an “Event”). By registering for or attending an Arts India US Event, you acknowledge and agree to this Event Policy.
Invite-Only Events & Capacity
Arts India US may offer certain Events by invitation and/or limit attendance in order to create meaningful, tailored experiences for artists and members of our community. An invitation to one Event does not guarantee an invitation to another Event. Due to capacity limitations, invitations may also be non-transferable and may not include the ability to bring a guest.
Event Fees & Expenses
Unless otherwise stated, attendees are responsible for any Event fees and for their own expenses associated with attending an Event, including transportation, travel, meals, and accommodation.
Respectful Participation
We want every Event to be welcoming, engaging, and respectful. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully and to follow any reasonable instructions provided by Arts India US staff, Event hosts, speakers, performers, or venue personnel. Arts India US may ask an attendee to leave an Event if their conduct is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, or interferes with the ability of other attendees to participate in or enjoy the Event. In serious circumstances, such conduct may also affect an individual's eligibility to participate in future Arts India US programs.
Attendee Lists
Arts India US may circulate an attendee list to all attendees, including sponsors, with names, artistic disciplines and affiliations.
Photography, Recording & Social Media
Arts India US may photograph, film, or otherwise record Events for archival, educational, promotional, or marketing purposes. We will make reasonable efforts to let attendees know when an Event is being recorded. If Arts India US intends to use a photograph or recording on social media in which an attendee is clearly identifiable, we will seek that person's permission before posting it.
We also ask attendees to extend the same courtesy to one another. If you photograph or record other attendees at an Event, please obtain their permission before posting identifiable images or recordings on social media.
When sharing content from an Event, please:
-
Respect the privacy and preferences of other attendees.
-
Do not record or share private conversations or presentations where recording has not been permitted.
-
Do not misrepresent yourself, another person, Arts India US, or the views expressed by another participant.
-
Make clear when you are expressing your own views rather than speaking on behalf of Arts India US.
Special Note on Recording Restrictions. Certain Events or portions of Events may not be photographed, filmed, recorded, livestreamed, or otherwise reproduced. Attendees must comply with any recording restrictions communicated by Arts India US, performers, speakers, or venue personnel.
Event Content & Intellectual Property
Speakers, performers, artists, sponsors, and Arts India US may retain intellectual property rights in presentations, performances, recordings, materials, trademarks, and other content shared at an Event. Attendees may use materials provided to them for their own personal and professional development, but may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or represent such materials as their own without appropriate permission.
The Arts India US name, logo, trademarks, and other branding may not be used without prior permission.
Changes to Events
Arts India US may modify an Event when reasonably necessary, including its format, content, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, date, or time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to registered attendees.
